For Patients

Patient Resources

Everything you need for a stress-free visit — your patient portal, online payments, financing, and how to prepare for your appointment.

Patient Portal

The portal is the fastest way to reach our clinic — quicker than phone or email. You can also use the APPatient app by Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) on your phone.

If you have trouble logging in, we can send another email invite. Note: the registration link expires in 72 hours.

Online Payments

Pay your bill securely online. Charges are billed by treatment location, so you may see separate charges from each organization.

Financing

Financing for premium lens packages and elective procedures is available through CareCredit — ask our staff for details.

Please note: anesthesia payment must be made by check or money order only — no cash.

Be Prepared

Preparing for your visit

A few things that will make your appointment smoother:

  • Bring a photo ID, your insurance card(s), and a list of current medications
  • Bring your current glasses and/or contact lens information
  • Many exams include dilation — your eyes may be light-sensitive and blurry for a few hours, so bring sunglasses and consider having a driver
  • Our campus has two buildings next to each other — please check your appointment for the correct address (2285 or 2245 Green Vista Dr.)
  • Arrive a few minutes early for your first visit to complete registration

Frequently asked questions

How do I schedule an appointment?

Call us at 775-674-1100, or send a message through the patient portal — it's the fastest way to reach our clinic.

Which building do I go to?

Our clinic has two buildings located next to each other on Green Vista Drive in Sparks. Building 1 (2285 Green Vista Dr.) houses a clinic and the Wildcreek Surgery Center; Building 2 (2245 Green Vista Dr.) houses a clinic and the Laser Center. Please check your appointment reminder for the correct address.

Do you take my insurance?

Coverage varies by plan. Please call our office at 775-674-1100 with your insurance information and our staff will help verify your benefits before your visit.

Will I be able to drive after my appointment?

If your eyes are dilated, your vision may be blurry and light-sensitive for a few hours. Many patients are comfortable driving afterward, but if it is your first dilated exam — or any surgical procedure — please plan to have a driver.

How do I pay my bill?

You can pay online using the ECAN payment link or the Wildcreek Surgery Center payment link, depending on where your treatment took place. The cost of a premium lens is split between Wildcreek and ECAN, so you may see separate charges reflecting each organization's portion.
