Charlton E. Stevens, M.D.

Dr. Charlton Stevens is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in cataract and refractive surgery. He specializes in Cataract Surgery, Refractive Lens Exchange, LASIK, PRK, Implantable Collamer Lens procedures, MIGS (Micro-Invasive Glaucoma Surgery) blepharoplasty, and botox.

Dr. Stevens earned his undergraduate degree in Physical Chemistry from Baylor University, followed by a medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He completed both his Internal Medicine internship and Ophthalmology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC) with the Air Force.

Prior to joining Eye Care Associates of Nevada, Dr. Stevens served as Clinic Chief of Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska, where he provided surgical care to active-duty service members and contributed to refractive surgery research and innovation. He has completed refractive surgery on our nations F22 and F35 fighter jet’s pilots! He has also participated in international mission trips, most recently restoring vision to underserved patients in Kenya.

Dr. Stevens is passionate about combining clinical precision with compassionate care. Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his wife Danielle and three children, being outdoors—running, scuba diving, camping, biking, and fishing.
