Ben Cheung, O.D.
Dr. Cheung attended the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree is Biology specializing in Botany in 2016. He is a 2020 graduate of The New England College of Optometry. He gained a wide range of clinical experience through externship rotations at Providence Veterans Administration Hospital (Providence, RI), South Boston Community Health Center (Boston, MA), Eye Consultant of Colorado (Conifer, CO), and MVC Eyecare (Manchester, NH).
Following graduation, he is completing an optometric residency in ocular disease, refractive, and ocular surgery at Eye Care Associates of Nevada. He provides diagnosis and treatment for various ocular conditions, including ocular surface disease, infections, glaucoma, and retinal diseases, as well as conducting pre and post-ops for cataract surgery. He hopes to expand his knowledge base of ocular disease and surgical comanagement as well as explore the Reno/Tahoe area.
Dr. Cheung is a native of Red Deer, AB. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the outdoors whether it be skiing, hiking or rollerblading.
